The Solar Plexus Chakra Too

Chakra 3 April 2016 2nd cover

In Sanskrit, this chakra is called Manipura, which means “lustrous gem,” because it shines bright like the sun – a radiant, glowing center.

It is our will that steers us away from that path of least resistance, that addictive habit, or the expectation of others.  It is through our will that we take actions that are difficult or challenging, moving toward something new.  As we take these actions, we begin to transform, but the first step is breaking old patterns.

Thus the initial task of the third chakra is to OVERCOME INERTIA.  Our will combines holding and moving in a way that directs action and shapes our world.
