Time To Pay The Piper
Karmic Debt Numbers: The Piper is here and looking for payment.
During many lifetimes and many incarnations, the soul collects a wealth of information and wisdom through good choices that benefit future incarnations. On the flip side, mistakes can also be made in which the gifts you are blessed with are somehow abused. In order to rectify past errors, and evolve, what may seem like an additional burden is now presented in this lifetime, providing the right conditions to resolve past life actions and issues.
Karmic Debt does exist, whether you think so or not. If you have one of these numbers – as a birthday for example – you will know when you read the Karmic Debt number descriptions how accurate it is. It’s just another, deeper facet, of karma on a SOUL level.
Your soul brings you to each existence through certain ‘portals’ and conditions that will give you the perfect opportunities to do this balancing work. Just SOME of these portals are family of origin, astrology signs, intuition, likes/dislikes, etc. The list could go on and on. There is a synchronicity to everything in your life, and you’ve brought yourself specifically here, specifically now, to do the work your soul agreed to.
Karmic Debt is the price you pay for procrastinating and playing around in your past lives, avoiding the work you were there to do – namely evolve. Karmic Debt really shouldn’t be viewed as bad, or something to be avoided, however. You are not a ‘victim’ of it nor is it bad luck. It’s BALANCE on a soul level journey. If you’re in Karmic Debt, there’s no running from it, and you’re going to have to pay up one way or another, so you might as well try to take charge, deal with, and make the best life you can. The more you know.
For purposes of general information, calculating karma numbers is limited to birth date only here. Of course this is not the only way to calculate your numbers. There are a number of different alphanumeric charts that calculate additional and more detailed data based upon your birth name, however, for our introductory purposes here, we will only include examples of calculations based upon your date of birth.
Chances are if you have one of the following numbers as your DATE OF BIRTH, you have already felt it’s affects on your life, and know that something is ‘up.’ Knowing is the first step to mastery and working with this ‘condition’ in this life rather than rallying against it, denying it’s there, or ignoring it, which only make things worse. Denying it’s there is only going to prolong the lesson. Why screw yourself over -again -in this life and the next? Ignorance really isn’t bliss here.
Please be aware that on a different, soul level, you have agreed to this as a means for growth in this lifetime. Your true self knows that your karma, on a soul level, needs to be balanced.
This is the souls way of pulling an all nighter… So get the coffee and start working. Make it a game, knowing that you will reap the bennies in this and future lives.
Calculating your Karma Numbers
There are four Karmic Debt Numbers. Each of these numbers signifies a different area of abuse in a prior life. If these numbers turn up in your numerology reading, especially in the main core area, it indicates that you are most certainly working on issues from a previous lifetime.
To find your Karmic Number, there are three areas in your numerology chart to which to pay attention:
Day of Birth
If you were born on the 13th, 14th, 16th or 19th, then this is your karmic number. Pretty straight up and unavoidable.
Personality Number
Your personality number signifies the energy that the outside world sees, as well as how others are most likely to interpret it. This is not your true self, but an indicator of what you allow to be seen. There are multiple ways to find your personality number, however, we choose to focus on adding your day of birth to your birth month. For example:
If your birthday is May 5, then your personality number would be:
5+5=10=1+0=1
If the final calculations of your personality number are broken down using a Karmic number, then this is your Karmic Debt Number:
- 4 (13=1+3=4)
- 5 (14=1+4=5)
- 7 (16=1+6=7)
- 1 (19=1+9=10=1+0=1)
If your birthday is February 11, then your personality number would be:
2+11=13=1+3=4
However, because your birthday reduced down to a four, via the number thirteen, thirteen is your Karmic Debt number.
**Note: Some systems will use ONLY the DAY of birth, NOT the birth month and day together, to determine this number.
Life Path Number
Your life path number represents your true self. Some have also called this your Destiny Number. It is the unchanging you and signifies your core values. You can calculate this by adding all of the numbers in your birthday. For example:
If your birthday is April 4, 1955, then:
- Day: 4
- Month: April is the fourth month = 4
- Year: 1955 = 1+9+5+5 = 20 = 2+0 = 2
Therefore:
- 4+4+2 = 10 = 1+0 = 1
If the final calculations of your life path number are broken down using a Karmic number, then this is your karmic debt number.
What Your Karmic Debt Number Means
Karmic Number 13: Laziness
People with a karmic debt number of 13 will need to focus their energy and work hard to accomplish any task and may eventually find it difficult to stop working. This is retribution for a past life dominated by laziness, negativity, and taking advantage of others. You wasted time and left work for others to finish, all the while reaping the bennies.
Number 13 people need to fight the temptation to take shortcuts. You will often feel frustrated and exasperated; obstacles arise and must be overcome time and time again and your hard work frequently leads to no visible signs of success. However, do not give up. Success is within your reach. While trying times may leave you feeling exhausted, perseverance will ultimately pay off.
The key to succeeding with the 13 is focus. A temptation with the 13 is to take shortcuts, but too often, that easy success doesn’t come, causing regret and the desire to give up. The result is a poor self-image and the belief that one is incapable of amounting to very much. Work to overcome your natural obstinacy, laziness, procrastination and negativity, but avoid becoming a workaholic, to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Communication, proper expression and order is essential to success with the 13 Karmic Debt. You must maintain a schedule, follow through, focus your energies on one thing at a time, keep your environment neat and under control, and under no circumstances ever procrastinate.
Many highly successful people in all walks of life, including business, art and athletics, have a 13 Karmic Debt.
Karmic Number 14: Control
The Karmic Debt Number 14 abused a position of power with the freedoms of others, causing tyranny and domination. Because of this, those with this Karmic debt number will have issues finding control in their own lives – Your life is filled with ever-changing circumstances beyond your control, and are often unexpected. You may be obsessed with your own freedom, to the point that you are at risk of surrendering it to life in the form of addiction.
In order to overcome this, it is crucial that you focus your life on commitment to your dreams and goals, modesty in all areas, and maintaining emotional awareness. Be flexible and adaptable (good words for everyone!) in the face of the unexpected, and stay focused, even when tempted with the option to run and escape.
BE VERY CAREFUL OF ADDICTION AND PRACTICE MODESTY as any abuse will quickly dominate your life.
If you do not come to terms with this Karmic debt you will meet with many difficulties in this life, showing up as losses and delays that seem inexplicable, or in its most lethal form can lead to spiritual and material poverty and ruin.
Your life will be filled with extreme highs and lows, but if you keep committed to your dreams and goals, it will always move in the right direction.
Karmic Number 16: Inflated Ego
Karmic Number 16 is about cleansing and can often be very painful. Those with this number allowed their vanity and behaviour to hurt, shame, and cause suffering to others in a past life and will now see its destruction in this one. This karmic debt number is particularly excruciating, as the fall of the ego generally comes after it has been severely inflated in the present life. It is a cleansing – All that has been constructed and all that serves to separate the person from the source of life is destroyed.
We’re sorry to be the ones to tell you this, but 16 is different from other karmic debt numbers, as it is not easily overcome. It involves a continuous cycle of death and rebirth, designed to show and teach humility (hopefully). When confronted with challenges or decisions, you find yourself making choices that are self-destructive. You are the main cause of your own undoing – you and your ego. You tend to make choices that seem specifically designed to break down what you have previously built — a self-destructive career choice or an act of stupidity that ruins an otherwise wonderful relationship, for example.
Be careful of egotism. More often than not, Karmic Debt 16 people have a highly intuitive and refined intellect, which, more often than not, looks down upon others, deeming them inferior, and, if a particularly cruel or slavish to the ego, enjoys mocking and/or taking advantage of others, feeling that they ‘deserve it’ on some level. This will only cause you to withdraw or feel alienated, indifferent, or lonely, AND invite RETRIBUTION.
Although you may remember nothing of what has led to this Karmic debt, it is possible that you have, even in this life, continued to act in the same manner, particularly in youth. Now you seek to understand yourself or things that are even greater than yourself. Often the people you hurt in past lives are still around you in your present life, so you may have the chance to repay your debt by putting your own needs last and offer selfless service to others.
When the 16 is in one of the Core numbers, this process of destruction and rebirth is a continuous cycle that actually serves to bring you into higher consciousness. The 16 Karmic Debt can be a path of progress and great spiritual growth if it is looked at properly.
You must recognize that power is meant to be shared and you are superior only to your former self. Check your ego – if you don’t, things will only get worse.
Karmic Number 19: Selfishness
For those with Karmic Number 19, you had great talent in your past life, which most likely led to a position of power. However, you misused this talent, through your own self-centered thoughts and actions, ignoring the needs of others, and more than likely enriching and advancing only yourself. The number one symbolizes beginning, while the number nine symbolizes end. Your journey will be about the give and take that happens in the middle. In this life, you must learn how to be of service to others and also how to accept the support of others.
Those with this karmic debt number are often stubborn, independent and resist help. Interesting as Karmic Debt 19 people must learn independence, for they will be forced to stand up for themselves, and often be left standing alone. No person is an island unto themselves, and you will lock yourself in a self-imposed prison of loneliness if not careful. To balance this, you must learn the proper use of power, release your resistance to help and/or receive advice from others, and learn consideration as well as acknowledgment of other’s needs. Resist the temptation to blame others for what is your responsibility, and the temptation to avoid emotions and memories that are painful.
