If You Could Do ONE Thing This Year…

Le Vie En Rose – Though it literally translates to “Life in pink,” it is the French way of saying, “I am looking at the world through rose colored glasses.”

It’s another marvelous and melodious reminder about having a positive attitude, made popular by French Chanteuse, Edith Piaf.

A positive attitude, much like fresh breath, should be a priority in your life. A negative mind will NEVER bring you a positive life.  It will only bring you more negative to wallow in.  And THEN, say hello to bitter loneliness, bad luck, and aggressive aging.  Unless you’re wallowing in positivity, it’s not a great look or outcome.  Bath in positivity and say hello to good people, circumstances, and things!

Having a negative attitude or having a positive attitude is the rudder to your ship.  It determines where you’re going.  Are you steering into dangerous, jagged rock territory or into the wind, sailing off into the sunset?  It IS your choice.

Think that someone or something else made you lose your cool?  Wrong.  It was ALL you.  And the more you do that, the more it will become your only reaction to everything, making life and everything really, really hard.

Whether you think you can or you can’t, you are correct.  Even giving it the good ole ‘college try’ sets up the pins (and universal energies) for success.  Try it – Next time you’re in a game and you’re losing, badly maybe, just TRY to think, “Yes I can, Yes I can,” and see what happens.  (Seriously, what have you got to lose?)  And then TRY – don’t listen to the self doubt, don’t look at the clock, don’t look at any other players – just try.  Just concentrate on the task at hand, and TRY.

Start as you mean to go.  It really does set you up for success.  The universe is bitchin’ that way.  It’ll give you what you’re thinking about and ‘actualizing,’ or thinking about with passion.  Or the opposite, if you’re into negativity.
